What are neighbors for?
Since 1968, Quik Stop has been an active member in the neighborhoods where we have stores. Throughout the year, we participate in various events to help give back to the same community that has helped us become successful.
The MDA St. Patricks Day Shamrock Program fund raiser was promoted in February and March of this year in our Reno Nevada stores. Our stores raised over $3000.00 for The Greater Northern Nevada MDA Association. A check for the proceeds was presented at the annual Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon over the Labor Day weekend.
Quik Stop participated in the Downtown Oakland YMCA's 2008 Annual Partners Campaign this year. Our $1,000.00 dollar contribution will help the YMCA provide high quality, affordable programming for youth including childcare, youth sports and summer camp. Quik Stop supports the YMCA's commitment to providing safe and enriching activities for our community.
